Disability Employment Policy

Employment of disabled workers is a key aspect of The Acticall Group's social policy.

The disabled workers agreement enhanced the Group's activity. Several measures for inclusion and job retention have been implemented on both local and national levels.

"Mission Handicap", The Acticall Group's disabled-friendly policy

Remote customer relationships, a stepping stone to employment for disabled workers.

Studies carried out by ergonomists and disability specialists have demonstrated, time after time, that Client Relationship jobs are within the reach of disabled workers.

Among the business specific benefits highlighted are: task diversity (front and back office), workstation equipment and layout, equipment accommodation, flexible working hours with a rotation system and shift variations according to days and weeks, the variety of in-house training programs, work setting accessibility...

Remote customer relationships offer many advantages thanks to vast organizational and operational potential.

"Mission Handicap", a mission for disabled workers

As a token of The Acticall Group's willingness to truly commit to its social responsibilities, an agreement regarding disabled workers was signed by the two sides of the industry.

So as to ensure that the commitments agreed upon were promoted and measures effectively implemented, The Acticall Group created "Mission Handicap", a mission for disabled workers.

In all the Group's sites, measures were taken to optimize the integration of disabled workers and improve their working conditions:

• Working hours scheduled around medical obligations
• Extended breaks (10 extra minutes for disabled workers)

• Rearranged workstations

• Enhanced cooperation between the HR Manager, occupational physician, and disabled employees before and after hiring so as to properly identify their needs and expectations then arrange their working environment in consequence

• On all sites, a Liaison Agent for Disabled Workers is appointed to stay attentive to the needs of disabled workers and provide assistance, acting as an intermediary with the HR department

• Developing local partnerships with the ESAT (a French Government Institution for disabled workers needing special assistance) and Sheltered Workshops

• HR Managers participation in conferences and forums dealing with disability, and regular encounters with specialized agencies

• Heightening team awareness and training management teams

• Creating internships and training contracts in partnership with the AFPA ...

Each site implements specific initiatives to meet the needs of disabled workers and adapt workstations to disability requirements.

A film presenting The Acticall Group's commitments was produced in cooperation with "l'Officiel du Handicap", the official national source of disability news and information in France.

A brochure designed to communicate on "Mission Handicap" and win over the support of employees was published. Download the brochure here:
